Me and Art II (ages 10–adults):
The perfect landscape
We will dedicate the July Saturday creative classes "Me and Art II" to plein air work.
In landscape painting, the composition of the work is of great importance, as well as the selected details, light and shadows. This time, we will be inspired by an outdoor view near a museum. First, we will choose a motif and create a sketch, research and draw elements that seem interesting and characteristic of the place. We will continue the work indoors. Dividing into small groups, on large colored paper, we will create the ideal version of the landscape, combining application with drawing, and placing and arranging all the elements according to the principle of a well-thought-out composition.
All materials will be provided
The class will be led by museum educator and artist Baiba Sprance
