Me and Art II (ages 10–adults):
Inspired by Georgs Šenbergs work

We will conclude July's plein air painting lessons by exploring how we can create expressive and moody work with some seemingly simple tools – lines, rhythm, and watercolor paint squares.

This time we will be inspired by the artist Georgs Schönberg's drawing "Don Juan", which is on display at the exhibition "Embodied Thought". We will use his method, a combination of watercolor and line rhythms, for work in the open air. We will choose a landscape motif near the museum and depict it using the techniques that the artist developed about forty years ago.

What to bring: watercolor or gouache paints

The class will be led by museum educator and artist Baiba Sprance
