Mārītes un ziedi autorei saistās ar bērna brīvību, tāpēc tās attēlo ilgas un nostalģiju, taču tauriņi vēderā raksturo pieaugšanas satraukumu. Gleznā māksliniece aicina rūpēties par sevi un nezaudēt dzīves krāsas.
This work visualises how childhood feelings, bonds, memories, colours, creativity, and imagination remain within us. The inner child remains, even as we grow and change on the outside. To the artist, ladybirds and flowers evoke a sense of childlike freedom; they express longing and nostalgia. On the other hand, the presence of butterflies in the stomach conveys the excitement and anxiety of growing up. With this painting, the artist invites others to take care of themselves and hold on to life's colours.

The subject of this painting is a supernatural being symbolising the transformation and growth expressed in interpersonal relationships. The central umbilical cord connects her inner and outer worlds. Similarly, her lungs, piercing the earth, and her brain, reaching into the sky, connect her to the environment.

Es sapiņķerējos tevī. Tu sapiņķerējies manī. Tu uzmeti mezglus manos diegos, es sasēju mezglus tavos. Kad atpiņķerējāmies, mezgli spriegojās ciešāk. Attālumu nevarēja viegli aizlāpīt – viss kļuva ļoti sapiņķerēts.
You enmeshed me. I entwined you. You tied knots in my threads; I knotted yours. When we tried to straighten out, the fastenings only tightened. The distance was not easy to mend – everything became intricately tangled.

Durvju rāmis ved uz diviem tēliem, kas var būt dažādi cilvēki vai arī divas daļas vienā cilvēkā: gaidītājs un gaidītais. Darbs stāsta par klātbūtni, kas vēl nav fiziska, bet ir sajūtama atmosfērā, vēsta par vēlmi satikt otru un sevi. Gleznu iedvesmoja Imanta Ziedoņa vārdi: "Uz cilvēku neved neviena laipa, neviens tilts. Uz cilvēku var aiziet tikai caur atspulgiem." Mēs tuvojamies viens otram caur to, ko atpazīstam sevī.
A doorframe opens onto two figures – perhaps two people, or two parts of the same person: the one who waits, and the one being waited for. The work speaks of a presence not yet physical but already felt – a longing to meet both the other and oneself. Inspired by Imants Ziedonis’ words, “There is no bridge, no overpass that leads to a person. One can only reach them by way of reflections,” the painting suggests connection begins with self-recognition.

Only the sense of a person – yet clearer than ever. I look at you and see myself. We breathe together. The video invites the viewer to notice the silence between words, between moments of eye contact and movement. It explores not the anatomy of the body, but the structure of connection – between people, between feeling and understanding.

A connection between people can be emotionally and physically meaningful, but such bonds tend to collapse. In contrast, the connection between oneself and one's soul is everlasting. It is vital to be self-aware and maintain inner balance in the digital age, where haste and the pressure of external influences dominate the mind.

Māksla ir saikne starp garīgo un materiālo pasauli, kas ļauj idejai pārtapt darbā. Autors makšķerē peldošas idejas sava prāta tumšajās dzīlēs kā zivis. Dažas pieķeras, citas noraujas un aizpeld tālāk, bet dažas atgriežas tieši tad, kad viņš ir gatavs tās izvilkt. Katra zivs ir atšķirīga, lielāka vai mazāka, un katrai ir sava nozīme.
Art is a bridge between the spiritual and material worlds – a place where ideas are able to take form. The artist casts his line into the dark depths of his mind, fishing for drifting thoughts and ideas, almost as though they were fish. Some are caught, others wriggle free, and a few return just as he’s prepared to reel them in. Every idea – whether large or small – differs, each holding a unique meaning.

The eye does not simply observe the universe – it becomes a cosmos. It mirrors the soul, each dot morphing into a feeling, a memory, a fragment of the psyche. In their togetherness, they form a gaze turned inwards – a connection to the essence of being. This work encourages silence and inner dialogue.

Each with a boundless story, they gaze from their place on top of the wardrobe. What connects nesting dolls with human identity and style? This photo series brings the dolls to life; their wooden and anthropomorphic forms portrayed side by side, reflecting the social role and personal significance of material objects.

A person develops through connection, gaining experiences, memories, and knowledge. These relationships are malleable but strong as a metal wire. The interwoven objects symbolise the effect of others, while the red thread speaks to the equally vital closeness to oneself.

Eventually, the emotional connection holding two people together morphs into something else, the strength of which may be incomprehensible. Defiance and love sweep through our veins. Often, the naked eye is unable to see that which refuses to let go. Could it be? Have we become one?

Figūras novietotas uz mūzikas kastītes, kur katra aina ir kā atkārtota melodija – vienkārša, klusa, bet dziļi sirsnīga.
The old lady and her cat Iris share a special bond, evident in everyday moments – from cuddles and caring for each other to arguments. They, the retiree and her unemployed feline companion, share a lifestyle. The figures sit on a music box, and each scene plays like a melody repeated – simple, quiet, yet deeply heartfelt.

Darba autore izpēta tēmu "Saikņu anatomija" kā saikni starp katrā mītošo cilvēkbērnu un tā kvēlāko iedvesmas avotu. Orientālās sievietes tēls simbolizē, cik nejauši vai neiedomājami elki un mūzas mēdz būt, savukārt darbā atainotie dārgumi ir kā spēks un motivācija, kurus tie sniedz.
With this work, the artist explores the theme “Anatomy of Connection” as a link between the inner child and their most fervent source of inspiration. The oriental woman symbolises how unexpected muses and idols can be, while the treasures represent the strength and motivation they provide.

Cilvēks ir daļa no veseluma - ķēdes. Gluži kā metāla gredzeni pirmais apķeras otrajam, otrais trešajam, tā turpinot neskaitāmas reizes. Lai izprastu savu lomu, indivīds visbiežāk paļaujas uz tuvākajām attiecībām jeb blakusposmiem, taču kādā mērā viņu ietekmē šķietami svešinieki? Kā viena cilvēka trajektoriju maina skolotāja skolotājs, drauga draugs vai partnera bijušais? Kurā virzienā cilvēks velk citus svešiniekus?
A person is part of a whole – a chain. Like metal links, one connects to the next, and then to another, continuing countless times. To understand their role in life, an individual often relies on their closest connections – the adjacent links. But to what extent are we shaped by apparent strangers? How does a teacher’s teacher, a friend’s friend, or a partner’s ex alter someone’s path? And in which direction do we, in turn, pull other strangers?
