Project "Talking Heads"

Art Museum RIGA BOURSE has started its participation in the European Union co-funded project Talking Heads.

Art Museum RIGA BOURSE proudly participates in the European Union co-financed project "Talking Heads," which promotes the digital transformation of cultural heritage sites across Europe. The project offers new and innovative ways to discover art, history, and culture through modern technologies, making them more accessible and engaging to a wide audience.

The project addresses challenges faced by Europe's cultural and creative industries by integrating contemporary technologies and adapting to the changing interests and behaviors of audiences. Special attention is given to the expectations of Millennials and Gen Z for unique and interactive experiences. By combining traditional cultural heritage with digital possibilities, the project offers new, exciting ways to explore art and history.

During the "Talking Heads" project, a digital platform will be created, allowing visitors of museums, galleries, and other cultural heritage sites involved in the project to engage in dialogues with selected artworks, such as sculptures and paintings.

Thanks to artificial intelligence, it will be possible to bring artworks to life, ask them questions, and engage in realistic, contextually relevant conversations. This will provide visitors with a personalized experience, allowing them to delve deeper into the history and meaning of the artworks in a new, interactive way.

As part of this European-wide project, the Art Museum RĪGAS BIRŽA collaborates with a wide network of cultural institutions, galleries, creative organizations, and technology centers across Europe. The project involves partners from six different European countries – Greece, Slovenia, Georgia, North Macedonia, Ukraine, and Latvia. The collaboration not only strengthens international relations and creates new opportunities for cooperation but also ensures that museums and cultural centers have the necessary tools to develop in the digital age.
