Latvian Museums Association Annual Award 2014:
Lifelong learning project

In honour of International White Cane Day, the Latvian National Museum of Art and its volunteers organised special “Get to know the Orient with different senses” tours for sight-impaired youngsters at the Art Museum RIGA BOURSE.

The story of the visually perceptible objects in the Oriental Gallery of the museum was revived with the help of touch, sound and even smell.

Programme curator – Annija Sauka.
