Meeting with the students:
Synthesis of the Arts

The exhibition “Traces and Roots. Anatolia in Contemporary Art of Turkey” has become a source of inspiration for students of the Art Academy of Latvia, who invite you to experience an art-filled evening at the exhibition.

The Art Museum RIGA BOURSE and the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye are delighted to collaborate with the Art Academy of Latvia (AAL), a partnership that enriches the museum’s educational programs and offers young artists the opportunity to create and share their experiences.

This time, students from the AAL Department of Painting will present a special art afternoon at the exhibition “Traces and Roots. Anatolia in Contemporary Art of Turkey”. During the event, visitors will encounter performances, installations, paintings, and conversations – all created in response to the works of Turkish artists and the ideas they inspire.

The event will encourage visitors to view the exhibition from a different perspective – through the interpretations and personal experiences of young artists, expressed both visually and performatively. It is an opportunity to meet the upcoming generation of artists and, at the same time, to broaden one’s understanding of the exhibition by experiencing a dialogue between different cultures and viewpoints.
