Italian Day at the Museum

In celebration of Italy’s National Day (Festa della Repubblica, 2 June), the museum invites you to a special thematic event. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy a diverse public program.

Event Program

• 12:00 – Guided tour of the exhibition Italian Arts and Crafts from the 6th to the 19th Century with the Head of the Art Museum RIGA BOURSE and exhibition curator Daiga Upeniece.
• 14:00–15:00 – Family-friendly tour and activities in the exhibition for children and parents.
• 12:00–17:00 – Creative workshops in the museum atrium.
• 12:00–17:30 – Food and drinks bar by Casa Nostra restaurant in the museum atrium.

• The event is accessible to people with mobility impairments.
• The event spaces can be reached via stairs or elevator.
• Portable chairs are available during the event. These may also be used as walking support. Chairs are in the museum’s Great Hall on the 1st floor.
