Rhythm’s

Exhibition “Rhythm’s” will be on view in the Cupola Hall of the main building of the Latvian National Museum of Art in Riga (Jaņa Rozentāla laukums 1) from 13 May until 7 September 2025.

The exhibition will create a dialogue between traditional African art objects from the Tukku Magi collection and contemporary works by artists from Latvia and African countries.

Using the concept of “Rhythm” as a key point, the creators of the exhibition will encourage the viewer to participate in the everlasting movement of change, breaking down the boundaries between cultural spaces, time and accepted context, inviting the visitor to contemplate the eternal flow and the great changes in which we live.
