Synthesis of the Arts

From November 28th, 2025, to December 21st, 2025, the Art Museum RIGA BOURSE will host the Latvian Academy of Art student’s pop-up exhibition “Synthesis of Arts”.

The Art Museum RIGA BOURSE and the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye are delighted to collaborate with the Art Academy of Latvia (AAL), a partnership that enriches the museum’s educational programs and offers young artists the opportunity to create and share their experiences.

Students of the AAL Painting Department are implementing a new project, offering a special performative afternoon within the exhibition Traces and Roots. Anatolia in Contemporary Art of Turkey. During this event, visitors were welcomed by performances, installations, paintings, and conversations inspired by works of Turkish artists and the ideas they evoke. The artworks created during student performances, as well as previously prepared pieces, are presented as a pop-up exhibition Synthesis of Arts.

The exhibition offers an alternative perspective – through young artists’ interpretations and personal experiences, which transform into visual and performative expressions. This is an opportunity to get to know the emerging generation of artists while expanding your understanding of the exhibition’s content and experiencing a dialogue between different cultures and viewpoints.

Participating students: Madara Patrīcija Āboliņa, Ulise Marta Elksniņa, Jānis Grāvītis, Ligita Grigorjeva, Aleksandrs Isupovs, Anastasija Sirotska, Una Jēgere, Laura Mazule, Oskars Mūrnieks, Brigita Rubine, and Otto Valters.
